Katy, TX Girls AAU Basketball

   Blair Ary grew up in Humble, Tx. She graduated from Humble High School in May 2000. While at Humble she played basketball for the Lady Wildcats. Coach Ary played collegiate basketball and graduated from The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio with a degree in Kinesiology. After graduation Coach Ary moved to Texas Woman's University as an Assistant for the women's basketball program for two years and earned a Masters degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in Adapted Physical Education. In 2007, Coach Ary took her first Head Basketball position at Humble High School. During her time at Humble the Lady Wildcats were District 21-5A District Champions, complied 48 wins and two play-off appearances. Prior to Taylor HS, Coach Ary was the Head Girls Basketball coach at Clear Brook HS from 2009-2012. The Clear Brook Lady Wolverines went 21-10 during the 2010-11 season and earned a third place finish in district. While at Taylor HS, the team went 28-11 during the 2012-13 season, finished 3rd in district and advanced to the Bi-District round of the play offs. During the 2013-14 season the Lady Mustangs were the 19-5A Co-District Champions with a record of 26-9 and advanced to the Regional Quarter Finals. In the 2016- 2017 season the Lady Mustangs advanced to the Area round of the play offs by upsetting the state ranked Travis Lady Tigers. In the past 5 years at Taylor HS, the Lady Mustangs have won over 100 games. 

 

Coach Ary is married to Mike Ary, the Director of Bands for Taylor HS. The Ary's have 2 daughters Skylar (3 years old) and Sutton (7 months). 

In their free time, the Ary's enjoy hunting and fishing with their family in South Texas.
